Schuring takes fifth win in six races and consolidates his position as leader in the Sport Division.
Chester Kieffer crowns himself champion in the Rookie class in Valencia.
Valencia, 25 February 2025 – Flynt Schuring (Schumacher CLRT) has strengthened his position as favourite for the title in the Porsche Sprint Challenge Southern Europe 2025 this weekend in Valencia. The Dutchman won both races in the Sport Division and heads to Barcelona next weekend with a sixteen-point lead over Ariel Levi (Team GP Elite) for what promises to be an exciting final. Chester Kieffer (Schumacher CLRT), in full battle for third place in the overall classification, secured the title among the rookies in Valencia with a win and a second place, while Philippe Wils (Proton Huber Competition) heads to the final round in Catalonia as leader in the Club Division.

Valencia was the third event of a total of four race weekends in the Porsche Sprint Challenge Southern Europe 2025, once again offering plenty of driving time for teams and drivers, culminating in two fiercely contested thirty-minute sprint races for both the participants in the Club Division and the Sport Division.
Schuring with a perfect weekend
Flynt Schuring immediately stamped his authority on Valencia with a hard-fought pole position, his fastest lap time just one tenth quicker than that of Kas Haverkort (Team GP Elite). Sid Smith (Team Parker Racing) demonstrated his speed with the third-fastest time, 173 thousandths of a second behind Schuring. Chester Kieffer and Henri Tuomaala (Koiranen) were the quickest in the Rookie class and PRO-AM respectively.

The first race in the Sport Division was particularly exciting. Flynt Schuring took the win, but Ariel Levi and Kas Haverkort finished within two seconds of the victor. Sid Smith and Chester Kieffer, who also emerged as the best rookie, completed the top five, followed by Sacha Norden (Proton Huber Competition) and James Wallis (Proton Huber Competition), the Porsche GB Junior. Henri Tuomaala won in the PRO-AM class and would go on to repeat this success in the second race.
In Race 2, Flynt Schuring again emerged victorious, this time with a larger margin over his pursuers. Ariel Levi and Kas Haverkort engaged in a fantastic battle for second place. Matheus Ferreira (Target Competition) achieved his best result of the season with a fourth-place finish and secured victory among the rookies, followed by Sacha Norden, Sid Smith and the newly crowned rookie champion Chester Kieffer.
In the interim championship standings, Schuring now holds a sixteen-point lead over Levi. Sacha Norden currently sits in third place after a consistent season, but no fewer than seven other drivers remain in contention for that position. Expect fireworks in Barcelona during the final races!

Philippe Wils takes a step towards the title
In the Club Division, Philippe Wils, the leader in the points standings, claimed pole position by a mere 29 hundredths over Andre Fernandes (Veloso Motorsport). Patrick Cunha, also competing for Veloso Motorsport, was the quickest in the GT4 class.
Wils lived up to expectations from pole position, driving convincingly to victory in Race 1, with Reinhold Krahn (Laptime-Performance) and Oleksandr Dobik (HADECA Racing) in close pursuit, battling fiercely for second and third place. Andre Fernandes and Tobias Vazquez-Garcia (Krämer Racing) secured fourth and fifth positions respectively. Patrick Cunha took the win in the GT4 class.
Andre Fernandes responded in Race 2, claiming victory with a strong Philippe Wils finishing second. The Belgian now heads to Barcelona as the firm favourite for the title, where the championship will be decided. Tobias Vazquez-Garcia secured a commendable third place, ahead of Reinhold Krahn and Jan Jaap Van Roon (MDM Motorsport). Jorge Rodrigues took victory in the GT4 class, although Patrick Cunha remains comfortably in the lead in the championship.
